RE:MAPPING Yate

New Ways of Thinking About Ourselves...

Liz Clarke & Company have been commissioned by South Gloucestershire Council to work in three libraries for three years. We are working with people who want to improve their mental wellbeing and people living with dementia, their carers and allies.

The project is driven by my performance practice enabling people to create new performance work through series of workshops. Each year I invite a new artist to work alongside me to create resources and provocations for the library service.

The project began Yate Library in 2015. We created performance, text, immersive experiences, exhibition and film.

A week by week project blog can be found here. Please follow our progress!

What People Said About RE:MAPPING

I’ve been so much more gentle and nice to myself since doing the project

The project has given us new insight and as a result we’ve brought the next level of wellbeing to our service users.
