Home Made at Chisenhale

I worked with people at the Pritchard’s Road Day Centre in Bethnal Green. The service provides a range of activities for people with mental health issues. My work with the group was particularly process based and we wanted to reflect this in the performance; giving the participants a chance to share their ideas and facilitate others. The ‘HomeMade Booth…’ struck a balance between performance, process and collaboration.

Gallery of Super Heroes and Alter Egos

Some of the characters from Dare Devil Divas demanded we pay them more attention! I commissioned phototgrapher Carl Newland to join a two day performance process culminating in caputuring something of ach of them. The resulting gallery exhibitied at the Tobacco Factory and the Parlour Showrooms.  We took up residence at the Parlour for a week and hosted events, performances, workshops and talks.

Pink Roses for Love

Emporium, Bristol.

The performer occupies a small enclosed space and the audience view through a chink in the door.

Every five minutes a ribbon is attached to the Body and fixed to a point on the wall.

The audience is invited to participate in a performative documentation of the work.
