An Adventurer's Companion

An Adventurer's Companion is the culmination of an 18 month commission with South Gloucestershire Libraries and Liz Clarke & Company. The work brought live art and performance into three libraries in the area through a series of 10 week collaborative workshops with people with mental health issues and dementia. You can read about individual sessions, the ethos behind the work and get a glimpse into the process of creating the work in my blog.

As an ongoing resource for staff, practitioners and library users; I created a bookwork to commemorate and reflect the work. The Adventurer's Companion includes resources, games, stories and ephemera from the project, as well as writing and reflection around themes explored in the work. The bookwork now has its own website where you can dip a toe or take a dive in. creativelibraries.org.uk
