Performance Research Journal: On Libraries

This month the new issue of Performance Research is published. The issue titled: On Libraries contains some fantastic articles exploring contemporary performance practice within the concept and site of the library. I am delighted to have an article published in this issue.

No Nudity, Ducks, or Amateur Wrestling; OR What happens when you give a live artist the keys to the library? is a reflection on my work with South Gloucester Library Services over the last couple of years. I address issues of risk taking in socially engaged practice, the library as site for performance making and presentation and themes of transgression and permission.
